Alright, I usually don't post about politics but I gotta say...I love me some 'Bama!! :D And not just because he's black, like I am(which people naturally assume for the most part) but because I agree more with his politics more than McCains. Don't get me wrong...I don't vote straight dem or straight Rep. I think that's stupid and narrow minded when there are many individuals, of either party, who have ideals that would make this country a MUCH better place.

A Cpl and I were talking at work(he's voting for Obama but he did vote Bush in for the last two terms*shudders*) and we were talking about how we hope that America doesn't show how narrow minded and ugly it can be. Then the next day and pair of neo-nazi get busted for wanting to assissinate the man when he's not even president yet! Makes you wonder what they fear huh?

I enjoy Obama's sense of humor(dry as it is), his wit(dude went to Havard! I think he knows how many states are in the US), his sense of family, and his understand of the every day person. I know I'm not going to make 250,000 dollars nor am I going to open a small business. However, it's not penalizing the rich when the rich are getting this FAT bonuses even though the bankrupted companies.

Don't get me wrong...some things I disagree with Obama on but for the most part I think he understand's people WAY better than McCain. And just because he has less experience doesn't mean that he can't be president. I'm just hoping that he surrounds himself with people who will help this country and him(Colin Powell I'm talking to you!).

I've already voted. A friend sent me this and I thought it was freaking great! And I'm going to end my one, and ONLY, pre-election political post with this...
