Oct. 1st, 2008 06:43 amWOOT! The first day of October! Yeah! I l love October. Always have. The crisp air, the crunch of leaves, the little kids shrieking and decked out in costumes for Halloween!! :D Of course, being in GA means the air isn't THAT crisp, depending on where you live there might not be any leaves to crunch and of lately parents have been to scared of the sickos to let kids out to go trick or treating....*sigh* Sometimes I miss the good old days!
Anyways, before I go all nostalgic on y'all today is my cousin's bday! She's 23 and big with twins. I've already called her to say happy bday and naturally, she was alsleep! LOL!
I'm wide awake because I crashed a little after 9pm yesterday and slept ALL night. Good times, good times. I was tired from coming home, sleeping for less than 20 minutes, going up to Savannah with my mom for Chemo then driving around doing the little things that we needed to do while we were up there then going to pick up my lil bro from football practice and then coming home and helping with schoolwork and the like. By the time we'd gotten home I'd been up for almost 24 hrs. Usually that doesn't faze me but yesterday...it did! :(
Me and mom brought my lil bro an iPod for his bday. He's gonna be 15 in the 16th of this month. He loves music, he was in the band but he had to decide between band and football sooo...he's a good kid. Really responsible so I didn't hesitate to go in half with my mom for all the stuff:D He's been hinting about that thing for months. I wanted to give it to him straight away but mom said no! I admit it, I admit it. When I buy people stuff I want to give it to them RIGHT away! Which is why I wait til the last minute to go Christmas shopping so I can resist the urge! LOL!
Anyways, I'ma go see what the fam is doing, wait a couple hrs and toss on my wig(did I tell y'all I had cut off ALL my hair, shaved it actually, and am starting a 'fro?!)and go to the post office for my mom to pick up the package we missed yesterday!
