Happy freakin' holidays...
Dec. 8th, 2009 07:20 pmSo, my mom got a call from the doc office yesterday. Her scan came back and they found a small mass. She's going to have to go and get another scope done on her colon so they can take it out and make sure the cancer hasn't returned. She's pretty down about it and I slap on a happy face because I don't want her to cry but on the inside I'm going nuts.

Posted another...thing. It's interesting. To me at least. I can see the difference in some of their features. Anyways, it's early morning here so I'm going to sleep then I'm going to be on the PS3 for the rest of the day! Those are my plans at least!:P Watched Shoot 'em Up with my mom earlier tonight. She actually stayed awake. I ♥ that movie and she really enjoyed it! :D

Seriously, I can spend hours just looking at random fonts and downloading them. Fonts that will probably never be used by me but hey! Ya never know right? I just downloaded a few now and must resist the urge to download more. *sigh*
Went to the doc with my mom the other day. Uh...don't know if I mentioned it but she received some funky results from a blood test a few weeks back and so she has to have a C-scan done to see if the cancer had returned. Which is why I might have been feeling a little blah the last couple of weeks. Hopefully none of y'all noticed. So, she's waiting to hear back from the doc. *crosses fingers*
While we were up in Savannah we went to IHOP(Yum, yum! I wish they had one in town) and then on our way back I noticed a sign that said a Blockbuster store was closing so we zoomed in there and everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was on sell. Blu-ray DVDs for 20 bucks? For serious? Not that I got them. I don't much see the difference so yeah. But I did grab some new releases that were 60% off which meant I got them from anywhere from 10 to 6 bucks! Woot! WOOT!! We just pretty much spent the day together which is always nice!:)
Went back to work today after having 4 days off. Meh! It was cool! I love all the guys there! Wellll....MOST of them! :P And there were trying to help me figure out what the heck is wrong with my car! LOL! Now, I'm off for the next two days and then I work mornings and then mids! Lovely right? My schedule is weird but I'm used to it.
So, yeah...some of the reasons I've been quietly lately. Just a lot of ish going on. And just to throw a little Sims in the mix I started doing something just for fun here:

Nov. 11th, 2009 02:53 pmSo, I've been MIA ...AGAIN!! But there was a lot of stuff that I had to deal with both personally and at work. Plus we rotated shifts so my body has to get acclimated to this current schedule. Good times, good times! I haven't even started on my WOC entry! I built the set(as far as my set building skills go which means just walls) and downloaded some clothes for Rosie and...that's it. Just wasn't feeling the Sims since my game is acting up!I I'll get to it though before my two weeks is up.
I mistakenly deleted some important characters for RG which means I have to create them again. They were all CAS Sims so they're not in body shop! I had a backup fortunately so that's good.
My mom and I got into it a few days back about something utterly stupid but it got me thinking about moving out. Blah! It's not going to be hard since I have the majority of my stuff still in boxes but still...I know she's going to have a fit when I mention it! Blah!
But I've been twittering like crazy! Easy to say something completely random in 140 characters or less yeah? Haha!

Went and got my hair done for the first time in forever! Which means I'm not wearing my wig. Apparently that gives people the license to run their fingers through my hair now and say that they like black women better when their hair is natural. Really? REALLY? Or of course you have the old school southern guys who still call me girlie and tell me I need to do something with my hair. Inside I think: "If you call me girlie one more time I'm going to shove your nose up into your skull." but outwardly I say: "I did do something to my hair thank you." I'm rather a violent person but try to keep it bottled. Like The Hulk ya know?:P
The deep South. Some things just don't fully go away.
