My name is Phoenix...and I'm a font-aholic!

Seriously, I can spend hours just looking at random fonts and downloading them. Fonts that will probably never be used by me but hey! Ya never know right? I just downloaded a few now and must resist the urge to download more. *sigh*

Went to the doc with my mom the other day. Uh...don't know if I mentioned it but she received some funky results from a blood test a few weeks back and so she has to have a C-scan done to see if the cancer had returned. Which is why I might have been feeling a little blah the last couple of weeks. Hopefully none of y'all noticed. So, she's waiting to hear back from the doc. *crosses fingers*

While we were up in Savannah we went to IHOP(Yum, yum! I wish they had one in town) and then on our way back I noticed a sign that said a Blockbuster store was closing so we zoomed in there and everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was on sell. Blu-ray DVDs for 20 bucks? For serious? Not that I got them. I don't much see the difference so yeah. But I did grab some new releases that were 60% off which meant I got them from anywhere from 10 to 6 bucks! Woot! WOOT!! We just pretty much spent the day together which is always nice!:)

Went back to work today after having 4 days off. Meh! It was cool! I love all the guys there! Wellll....MOST of them! :P And there were trying to help me figure out what the heck is wrong with my car! LOL! Now, I'm off for the next two days and then I work mornings and then mids! Lovely right? My schedule is weird but I'm used to it.

So, yeah...some of the reasons I've been quietly lately. Just a lot of ish going on. And just to throw a little Sims in the mix I started doing something just for fun here:

Two random Sims I had in BS for awhile. I threw them together and want to see the results!:P

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and keep you in my prayers that's nothing is seriously wrong.

Yeah, a LOT of Blockbusters are closing down. The official story (or, at least the one they're telling their employees) is that the rent is being raised and they can't afford the raised rent. Who knows if that's true or not.

Reading your Sims stuff makes me want to play the Sims again. I've stopped because A) am super-crazy-busy and B) it runs SOOO slow on the laptop that I can't stand it. Maybe I'll install it on my husband's computer... but then I have to reinstall all the mods and stuff.... ugh... I wonder if there's an easy way to copy everything from one computer to another?

The guy at this Blockbuster said something similar. It's sad really because he's not going to the next Blockbuster he's going to stand in the unemployment line. But he didn't seem to upset about it! Ha!

LOL! Oh man! You should once you're not crazy busy! Yeah, I start freaking if I have lags on my PC. Which usually happens only on the loading screen. Takes 10 minutes to load and then it's fine.

Do you have an external hard drive? That's the best way. Or you could do the shared computer thing. Not sure how that works but I think you can share files!:)

External hard drive... that's not a bad idea. Much cheaper than buying a new laptop. Good idea!

Lucky I had a backup of everything when my game was acting up so I was able to still have all the characters(for the most part!). They're cheap now so it's WAY better than a new laptop!!
