Random, random...oh! What's that?

Re-installing The Witcher on my gaming PC instead of the laptop.  Which means I'll have to start all over since I uninstalled it from my laptop months ago! *shrug* Had to do a little messing around since The Witcher wasn't made to play on Windows 7.  Google is your friend!:P Reason why I'm re-installing? OMG!! Have you SEEN the previews for The Witcher 2? I talked about this months and months ago and put some photos on twitter but yeah, I want.  So, I figure if  I don't spend any money on frivolous things between now and the release date(May 17...oh hello there Dragon Age II on March 8 but Uncharted 3 is in the clear since it comes out in November and ME3 in December! O...M...G!!!) I should be clear and have a stash for my sister's wedding. *nods and crosses fingers I stick to the plan* Speaking of my sister's wedding:

Things I need:
Passport
Maid of honor dress
Plane ticket

Those are the three most important things.  Well, that I can think of right now.  My head is KILLING me.  Ugh! Way to start out a work week.

Went into TS2 to take some shots and I ended up getting distracted by building Rho this...thing and not taking any shots at all.  Fabulous! *shakes head* Then I popped Wolverine into the PS3 and zoned out. Meant to have an update out this weekend(my weekend but yeah! So...many...games!!) I can already tell this year is going to be less Sim playing for some of the people on my f-list(points at self as well!).

Anyways, have some old Witcher pics that I had in my PB while I try to figure out why the patch is throwing me a freakin' error! Motherfreakin'!

ETA: True story: I go through all the proper channels to get the patch and nothing.  Go through third party users to get it and it works no problem! What does that say??

ETA 2: Putting these here(patches!) and this and this(texture mods!) just in case I, or you friends, need it again.

My graphics card for my Simming computer is acting all wonky on me! WTH??? If it's not one thing it's another yeah? But I can't splurge on another one just yet(darn my recent shoe obsession!!) and the fam is going to go visit my gram for her 80th in a few weeks so I have to save up for that as well. So, it might be a minute before any updates come through on my end. While I was feeling all sorry for myself I stumbled across an old RPG game that I used to have that plays fairly decent on my laptop. I popped it in and while it was doing it's thing I surfed the web for some more info on the game. Lo and behold they're coming out with The Witcher 2 sometime next summer. Which means that I have to beat this game before I can buy the other. Yeah, I'm weird that way. :P But I can't play a game without taking screenshots! Haha! First few pics are opening cut scene, a few more cut scenes and some game play pictures. It doesn't look half bad on my crappy laptop! Unfortunately my favorite go to screen capture(Snagit) was acting like a douche so I ended up using the Snipping tool that came with Windows for the first fifteen or so pics. I kinda like it. Only thing I didn't like was there was no autosave! Blah! And then...I remembered that I had purchased Fraps! *facepalm* DUH!! So the rest of the pics are taken using that! 30 some pics in all under the cut! Just for funs sake and to show I do play other games besides the Sims! ;)~ Especially when I don't have a choice! *grumble*
