Sep. 2nd, 2009 10:44 pmSooo...I always write best early in the morning(and by early I mean like 0100 thru 0600) when everything is nice and quiet. And I was really getting into the groove of it when my cell rang. Yeah, early morning calls are never good so I fumbled the phone for a bit trying to to see the caller ID only to realize...
It was a patrol man. On the desk. Who was having a freakin panic attack because he needed to confirm a warrant and couldn't get into the necessary system. I tried to talk it through it but it didn't work since his desktop is different than mine so, at 0300, I had to toss on some clothes(and one of my wigs!:P) and drive to the PD to get him into the system.
Come to find out he's blocked from the system! Go figure! So then I ended up staying and talking to him for a good hour, watching the Yes Dance because that is his new favorite song(man, he is SO gay but he thinks no one knows when EVERYONE knows!) and just chatting away. Then when I went home I flipped on the TV and watched some old Family Guy before I nodded off and didn't wake up until about nine.
Suffice to say that I did churn out an LT update but they had an NCIS marathon on USA today and I could not tear myself away!! O_o So, winchesters are half finished and RG is still running on my PC. At least I think so since I really didn't spend much time in my room. My computer probably restarted itself since I have it install updates...AND I DID NOT SAVE!!!! Crap! Oh well! Will just have to work around that bit.
Now, I'm @ work waiting for paperwork and after I finish that I'll work on updates. If I don't have to do anymore actual work. Or if an officer doesn't come in and want me to run some stuff for him. Or he just wants to talk. Or if I don't find the movies I brought with me(Love, Actually, Hot Fuzz and Pride&Predjudice) more interesting.
Anyways, paperwork cometh! I'm out!
