Okay, let me just say....

I HATE 2-10 shift! For one thing it totally ruins my day and for other...it just SUCKS! LOL! But...I did get Taco Bell last nigh after work because I was freakin starving and I wanted one of their new freeze drinks...and wouldn't you know it they didn't have the flavor that I wanted!! Bah! It wasn't my night!!

Btw...who calls the police dept looking for numbers?! Hello?!! Not 411 but we get like 20 calls a night just asking for random numbers! Gah!! So happy we're your phone book people! -_-

Heck no! I'm only here for the sim groups and to comment on other people's stories. :p I just joined last night out of boredom.

I work in a property management office and today some random guy waltzed in and asked me where he could find a good Russian pumpernickel. I was doing my best not to look at him like he was insane.

Yeah, there are some good sim groups here(some people can be catty but ya know how that goes)! Did you join simstorytellers? You can post you some info there about your story! You can only post once a week though which is why I forget since sometimes I post more than that! *shrug*

Ha! We're all geeks, girl. That's why we play the Sims and write stories about it. :D

I joined simstorytellers, sim_wank and maxis_taste. I've never promoted my story before and would be weirdly nervous about doing it. I'm neurotic, I know! But I did add the story to their master list.

My boyfriend told me that I had gone over to the dark side last night when I joined LJ. But it's easily the biggest sim story community!

I know! Crazy right?! And I just now got involved in the Siims...I don't remember what drew me to it but I feel like I missed out...I don't know why since most of the people here aren't getting Sims 3! I'm weird that way!:P

Just stick a nice shot up...like they one you have on your lj and post a blurb! I was nervous as heck but now I'm like whateva!:P

The dark side! *snort* LOL! And you're right! There's a crap ton of sim communities here! You should check out simsecrets too. Most of the secrets are gossipy but I find some good stories there that other people hate on! Guess I'm just psycho that way!

He used to but since he isn't a storyteller or a custom content creator, he got bored after a couple of months. His older brother turned us both onto the game. (The bro is a huge gamer.) And the first time I played it, I played for 12 hours straight. Seriously!

LOL! Normally, I can't stand video games! Unless spider solitaire counts.

I don't think I'll be moving on the Sims 3 either. Not for a very long time, when the game is out for Mac and loads of CC is available for it.

Oh yeah, I read simsecrets every now and then. Most of it just seems to be complaints about the staff at Garden of Shadows though. :D I've never actually witnessed the mods being mean on GoS. They're just doing their job! People can get so butt-hurt over little stuff.

LOL! Yeah, I can see that happen...actually no, no I can't! I was like you! I sat and played and played and played! And then I got introduced to CC and it was a wrap! LOL! Now my fam asks: "How are your Sims doing?" Haha!

I think I got the Sims 2 Pets for my PSP and I was like hmmm...and then I was reading reviews on amazon for the PC game and was like HMMM!! And then I got the Double Deluxe and was like YES!!! Haha! I"ve been a gamer for years! Since like Atari days and I just moved with the times! I want a PS3 but...since I'm on the PC all the time it would be kinda what's the point ya know?

I pre-ordered Sims 3 so it can sit on my desk while I wade through all the people complaining about it and stuff like that before I actually load it on my computer!

I read some secrets so I can LOL at people whining all the time! I LOVE GoS(but I'm just a lurker there) and their creations. I want to scream...."EVERYONE won't like it EVERYWHERE!!" but I don't!

Gosh, I got long winded here! LOL! Umm...story update sometime near the end of the week! I have three days off! YES! However, that's tentative since Fraps is acting crazy on me and I can't understand the other program! What's it called?

I try not to let on about the extent of my simming to my family. The bf's family knows though! They make fun of me too. :D

I'll have to run over to simsecret sometime this week. The last time I was there, someone had hijacked it and deleted all the sekrits.

Oh, Fraps is a program I used to take my pics for my story! But it's acting stupid sooo...and the other one I was thinking about was Gimp...I don't get that one! :S

Oh yeah...I remember that week! But amazingly a ton of people had saved secrets! Huh? How's that work? Anyways...

Yeah, I'm working on maybe four hours of sleep! Gah! I better go as well! Poor bf! My sis's bf is like that as well! Night Pen! Talk to ya later!

Ooo, I C! I wish I could help you there! I've never used a screenshot program. I have a Mac and they have a function where when you press control-shift-3, it takes screenshots.

Hehe, I like the idea that people saved the secrets they wrote. Maybe they expected someone to delete them!

Four hours of sleep?? That's a sadness! But of course, when I was in school, I frequently ran on two hours. That CAN'T be healthy.

I was telling myself that I would update tonight but I haven't even started writing 36! I've started on 37 but 36 is just sitting on my desktop all lonely and stuff. And it's not like it's a complicated chapter or i don't know what I'm going to say. I'm just more excited about 37 because it features a shiny new character.

Yeah, but it takes great screens! I can't figure out how to work the in game camera like I do Fraps sooo...I sent them off a message. :) Cause I need my screens! LOL!

Yeah, I remember when I was in school some days I didn't get any sleep! Just went to class, hung out, went to class...hung out some more! And when I did crash it was during the day so no one saw me! College is how I became a night owl!:P

LOL! I do the same thing! I have an idea for the after fifteen and I'm in the process of writing and screening fifteen...but I really wanna do chapter 16! Ohhh...what shiny new character?! LOL!

The in-game camera isn't as good anyway. The pictures are WAY compressed and consequently, a little fuzzy. But it's easy to use. After you hit TAB to enter camera mode, just hit C to take the pictures. And you don't have to worry about the little action boxes at the corner of the screen or the red pause lines (if you don't have the hack that gets rid of them). I'm just letting you know in case you have to resort to that. :p And of course, the pictures are saved in the Neighborhoods folder under Storytelling in whatever neighborhood you took the pictures in.

I don't even think that my computer could handle running a separate program while running the Sims. In fact, I know it can't since it totally crashed when the scheduled updates popped up.

I consider myself a night owl too. And in my case, I think it's hereditary.

What shiny new character? Why, The Hotness of course! :D Now I have all of these images of sneaking him into chapters that I have planned but that he didn't previously appear in because he didn't exist. He has two siblings too- A younger brother and an older sister. I want to bring the sister in at some point and the brother only in for short cameos. Fun times!
