J ended up buying Twilight. He didn't even open it. Just brought it in and shoved it in my face AFTER rubbing the cover. Specifically over Edward's face!! LOL!! He has such a crush on him! Anyways...I brought my laptop to work with me so I'm getting ready to watch it now. There'll be an edit to this post after I finish watching it! :P

I also wanted to say RIP Patrick Swayze. Man, it's weird. He hasn't been famous or in the lime light for YEARS but to me he'll always be Johnny from Dirty Dancing. *sigh* ♥

ETA: Okay, I watched the movie. First, I read the back and they compared the movie to freakin' Titanic??!! Are you kidding me? O_o Then I'm the type of person who doesn't like to pause a movie or get up to go to the bathroom once it starts but since I was at work I had to pause it! Blah! Okay! That was annoying. The movie was annoying overall actually. I mean, it was okay but not fabulous. I could have went my entire life without seeing it. Especially their attempt at the sparkles! Seriously? SERIOUSLY?!!! Now I'm glad I didn't buy it. I told J that I'd go to see New Moon with him because 1) it is his birthday and 2) freakin' LYCANS!!!! But yeah, the actiong was meh! The plot was meh and there was such teen angst I wanted to slap someone. But don't tell J! I told him I liked it!:P

I have to admit I was never a Patrick Swayze fan at all, but its been a bit shocking to see how ill he had become. You don't wish that on anyone.

I saw my niece this weekend and she had gotten the damn series for her birthday. One more young mind warped forever.

After 'Dirty Dancing' and 'Ghost' I really wasn't much a fan either. But like you said he became ill out of the blue and so rapidly it was a surprise.

I'm going to show my age and say that to me, Patrick Swayze will always be "Darry" from The Outsiders. *sniff*

As for Twilight, I watched it because I had to see what all the hoo-rah was about. It was ... entertaining ... and, well, I watched it back when I was going through that Hives episode and had nothing better to do and needed a bit of a distraction to help me forget my agony.

What is it about Gay guys and Glitter? My cousin is always going on about how he's "so happy he could explode glitter" ...

You seriously described the movie how I would've. The only actor I like was Bella's Dad. The only thing I liked about the DVD is the audio commentary, they totally make fun of the movie, too. You should listen to it, if you can stand to watch the movie again with the commentary.

I loved Patrick in Dirty Dancing. When I heard about his death yesterday, I wanted to watch Dirty Dancing again. I couldn't believe it. Why is everyone dying? :( I also want to watch Ghost now.
